How to Add Mobile Phone Numbers to Receive Messages through Text
This first link explains how to setup your phone number with your sports engine account and to turn on text messaging notifications. This means any message we send out through our system you will get a text message for (as well as email assuming you didn't change that preference). The text message is mainly just the subject line with a link to the actual message.
How to Add Guardians
This second link explains how to setup additional guardians to your child's accounts if you want another person to get messages and access your child's team info. The guardian you add will get an email asking them to join sports engine (if not already) so the guardian will have an action on their part to get messages. If not setup, only the account holder who registered the kids will get messages.
Note: Registration for Jr. Rangers did have you fill out guardian information for 2 guardians however that does not translate over to the Sports Engine system. That is used for our registration information only. I am hoping for next year that can be changed.
Don’t forget Spencerport Jr Rangers is now mobile! Please download the Sports Engine app, login with your account you created when you registered your child, and search for Spencerport Jr. Rangers!
Each family will be asked to fulfill the one mandatory fundraiser, as per usual, this year.:
**PLEASE NOTE: if paying by for the candy check you may not include this total on the same check as the Uniform deposit (detailed below). This will need to be on a separate check/Form of payment as the Unform check is not cashed if all equipment is returned as received.
Uniform Care & Deposit Requirements
As you all may have noticed when signing authorizations electronically during the registration process Jr Rangers will now require that each registration also include an equipment “deposit” be handed in.
This will be in the form of a post-dated check (Dated 11/15/2021) to keep on hand should a uniform be returned damaged, or not returned at all ($150 for A, B, C Football/ All Cheer Levels, and $50 for Flag Football). These will be returned to you once the Uniform/Equipment is received at the end of the season. This will be collected at each Uniform Handout Night.
**As noted above: This cannot be included on the same check as your fundraising payment.
