Fundraising / Special Events Coordinator

President The President shall preside at all membership meetings as Chairman of Board of Directors and shall present at each annual meeting of the organization an annual report of the work of the organization. They shall appoint all committees, temporary or permanent and shall see all books, reports and certificates required by law are properly kept or filed. They shall be one of the officers who may sign the checks or drafts of the organization. They shall have such powers as may be reasonably construed as belonging to the chief executive of any organization.
Vice President The Vice President shall in the event of the absence or inability of the President to exercise his office become acting president of the organization with all the rights, privileges and powers as if They had been the duly elected president.
Treasurer The Treasurer shall have the care and custody of all monies belonging to the organization and shall be solely responsible for such monies or securities of the organization. They shall cause to be deposited in a regular business bank or trust company a sum not exceeding $75,000 and the balance of the funds of the organization shall be deposited in a savings bank except that the Board of Directors may cause such funds to be invested in such investments as shall be legal for a non-profit corporation in this state. They must be one of the officers who shall sign checks or drafts of the organization. No special fund may be set aside that shall make it unnecessary for the Treasurer to sign the checks issued upon it. They shall render at stated periods as the Board of Directors shall determine a written account of the finances of the organization and such report shall be physically affixed to the minutes of the Board of Directors of such meeting. They shall exercise all duties incident to the office of Treasurer.
Secretary The Secretary shall keep the minutes and records of the organization in appropriate books. It shall be their duty to file any certificate required by any statute, federal or state. Theyshall give and serve all notices to members of this organization. They shall be the official custodian of the records and seal of this organization. They may be one of the officers required to sign the checks and drafts of the organization. They shall present to the membership at any meetings any communication addressed to her as Secretary of the organization. They shall submit to the Board of Directors any communications which shall be addressed to them as Secretary of the organization. They shall attend to all correspondence of the organization and shall exercise all duties incident to the office of Secretary.
Cheer Coordinator Cheerleading Coordinator shall be responsible for all events, organization of tournaments, scheduling and any other responsibilities pertaining to cheerleading. They shall also be responsible for contacting and communicating with all cheerleading coaches. They will also be responsible for liaising with the cheerleading coordinators of other teams in the AYFCL. The cheerleading coordinator will have the final say in all matters pertaining to cheerleading.
Equipment Coordinator The Equipment Coordinator shall be responsible for ordering, storing and keeping track of the inventory for all equipment pertaining to the organization. This includes but is not limited to football protective gear, football uniforms, coach's bags, first-aid kits, football field markings, etc. They shall also assist with practice lights delivery, storage and set up.
Webmaster Position not specifically addressed in By-Laws, but this position is pivotal in performing all tasks associated with the SJR website to ensure it is maintained with accurate and pertinent information. This position shall also coordinate the mass email messages sent to families as needed year round. Will work with the Executive Board to ensure all online campaigns such as Registration, etc, are up and running in a timely manner
Football Game Day Operations Football Game Day Operations shall be responsible for set up and take down of all game day operations. They shall oversee along with equipment coordinator all items are stored and returned properly. They shall be responsible for organizing playing field for all games. Shall be responsible for contacting and confirming with other organizations of game day place and time should the president be unable to perform said communication. Shall make sure that flag has games scheduled with another opponent and shall contact another organization that has a flag team, if necessary. Shall work under the coordinator of Head of Football Operations to ensure all coaching staff is following the SJR playbook.
Fundraising & Special Events Coordinator The Fundraising and Special Events Committee shall be responsible for all fundraising events as approved by the Executive Committee. Typical Fundraisers include but not limited to mandatory candy bar fundraiser (organization, storage plan, execution, and follow up), local restaurant eat in nights, annual sponsorship drives, etc. Shall also be responsible for organizing and planning any in person registration info nights, the banquet (secure venue, obtain raffle baskets, organize sale of tickets, DJ, menu, cake/dessert), alumni game day, homecoming events including poster board and decorations for the homecoming float and any other event as approved by the Executive Board. The committee shall also order balloons, decorations and other supplies for all events. In addition the committee shall be responsible for obtaining proper audio equipment at any home football games not played on the varsity field.

Volunteer Coordinator The Volunteer Coordinator shall make sure that all volunteer positions are filled both for home and away games for all squads. Shall contact and confirm with all volunteers the day before that these volunteer positions are filled. With help from the Executive Board shall "employ" a committee of Team moms from both Football and Cheerleading to assist with organization and comunication regarding volunteer opportunities
Player Safety Coordinator Director of all player safety for the football & cheerleading program. The coaching staff will need to work directly with this role in order to ensure proper protocols and technique are followed. Will work with the President & Vice President to ensure all league policies are being followed in terms of play time etc. Attendance the majority of the game day is expected for this role. Ideal candidate will have medical experience as well.
Head of Football/Cheerleading Operations- Positions separate from our org chart held by senior members of the board or organization, currently the President and VP. Enlisted to ensure the mission, vision and values of the organization for each of these sports is followed. Positions will be responsible for leading the coaching staff, the Football Game Day Operations Coordinator, the Cheerleading Coordinator, and Player Safety Coordinator to ensure the success of each season, the safety of our athletes, and longevity of the ideals put in place by our founding fathers
